We chose X Line as a name because the design of the orthosis mainly affects the function of the foot in the sagittal plane (X axis). Many practitioners spend valuable time adding sagittal control into their devices but the x Line already comes with this built into the unique mid-foot saddle. Frontal plane control is easy to achieve by adhering rearfoot or forefoot EVA wedges (available from us) - the base of the insole is flat which makes this quick and easy in the clinic.
