3D Printing Face Visors During the Covid-19 Pandemic
We were delighted to be able to do our bit to help the fight against COVID19
In March Healthy Step turned its 3D printing capacity to good use by printing parts for the face visors so desperately needed by the NHS and care workers in the fight against the Coronavirus pandemic.
Using our Stratasys FDM printer we were able to quickly download the files to print high-quality 3D parts in what turned out to be a huge effort by companies and individuals to help ease the PPE crisis. Like many others, we supplied these parts free from charge as we all banded together to fight COVID19.
Our 3D printer is normally used to help us realise our designs and prototype innovative foot orthotics and lower limb products for both medical and sports use.
